About us

Alan and Lesley Woodward

In 2000 we purchased a ruined farmhouse in upper Pedro Miguel, on Faial Island. By June 2002 we had opened our bed and breakfast business, from which we met many visitors as enthralled by the island as we had been. Many expressed a wish to find the house of their dreams and move here.

Alan has helped many people in this way and now concentrates on buying old houses and restoring them for sale or rent. Lesley has developed a successful rental business and has many delightful houses on her own website www.azoreshigh.com.
